SCEF 2006 Celebration Social
Several grant recipients were featured speakers at the 2006 SCEF Celebration held November 9th, 2006. Mrs. Susan Rauch, Moultrie County Beacon Director spoke about the camp for special needs teens held the last two summers. It was heartwarming to hear the positive response from the teens as well as their parents. Mr. Al Legutki gave a demonstration of his composing software. There are several levels of software to aid all levels of students. Mrs. Kathy Black and past graduate, Danielle Carlton, as well as four current students, Dalton Shasteen, Ashley Sinkler, Stefanie Wolfe and Blake Whitkanack spoke regarding the Sullivan Park Tree Identifying Program. Eventually their project will be available online. The SCEF Board Members and donors were impressed with the grants that were demonstrated in the booth displays as well as the recipient speakers.
